What do want out of your high school career? If you want to be the very best baseball player and student then you have come to the right place. The skills you will learn will carry on well past your playing days.
For boarding students a typical day will start with breakfast each morning and then school from 8AM until noon with The Ogburn School. Our in house teacher monitors your classes and provides tutoring so that you receive the most from your college prep class schedule. After class, lunch is served in the dining hall and then the fun begins. We have weight training and specialized training for our athletes each day before we dive into team sessions. Once team practice concludes we have dinner at the dining hall and study time. Also, some free time for ping pong, billiards or video games. Some nights will include a devotional bible study along with individual player meetings. It's a busy day but its required for you to develop the skills necessary to take your game to the highest levels.
During the season the team travels to many places such as, Atlanta, GA; St.Petersburg, FL; Rock Hill, SC; Vero Beach, FL and plays power house high schools. You will learn how to deal with school and being on a road trip like a typical college player. The experience you will receive and the friendships you will make are priceless memories that you can reflect on the rest of your life. We look forward to having you as a part of the Georgia Premier Academy family.
